During the break in shooting, I appeared in a lot of other shows as an extra. I’m the guy who is walking by as the scene opens, or sitting in that cafe. I’m part of the environment.
I was really happy about it because I was was paid every day I worked. Some of my ‘days’ were an hour or two, some were much longer. I was taking every possible gig so was working seven days a week.
I doubled up in some cases, going on this set then to another, so my salary also doubled.
It was easy work, in fact it wasn’t much like work at all.
Considering I had no idea what I wanted to do with my life, I might as well earn while considering.
