One of the songs I used to sing to my infant children and later to my granddaughter as a lullaby, to put them to sleep, was an old folk song called All The Pretty Little Horses. I first heard a rendition by a favorite group in my youth; Peter, Paul and Mary. This version is done by Ashley Serena and until listening to it, I’d never heard of her. However, she has a wonderful and soothing set of pipes. I’ll have to look for more songs by this girl.
This version is different than the one by PPM, but Ashley has made it her own by changing it a little. Sit back, relax, and enjoy.
Oh, I don’t know of this song or the singer. But I must say, I really like this song and she sings it really well. I love it!
Though I’d never heard of this singer, I agree that she does really well and doesn’t try to push the song. I’ve loved the song for a long time, probably since the early 1960s.
