The hardest part is getting that final draft ready. Or at least it is for me. I have been working on it for ten years.
Hello, Brenda, a word of advice from the pros they say the most common solution to getting past that final draft is don’t overthink it, SUBMIT/PUBLISH. Your first book is not going to fly off the shelves, even sell but a few copies at best, but hey! you have joined the ranks of published authors instead of wannabe writers.

that is so wonderfully said. I know that as a child I was introduced to the magical world of Tolkien. (I went to an English School and got to read the original version not the horribly cut up American Version released in the 1970’s.)
A less known fact is that J.R.R. Tolkien was born in Bloemfontein, Orange Free State, South-Africa. I arrived a few centuries too late, Pun) to meet him as I grew up about a hundred miles from Bloemfontein. I have a feeling his suggestion of the existence of “middle earth” might have given rise, at least in part, to the popular conspiracy theory of the existence of also “flat earth”.

Thee are great points to consider. I haven’t tried writing a novel or a story. It can be very interesting though.
Life stories are unique and one will never know how, if at all, it will be received but while it is not told, there is no way to know the effect it would have had on others. It is almost as St. Augustine, who had lived in 354 to 430 BC, had compared world experiences to the reading of a book.
