When you have no money to buy an electrical pump you build a hand pump. Low cost and it works. As long as you don’t need 100 letrs and Hr everything is ok.
Its slow but works ok also its good exercise into the bargain. We build them on Construction jobs as well as a temp water supply
After 1 hr we have running water we can pump 24 hrs a day
Not a hard job to do just takes 1 hr and a bit of hard work
