There is a difference between one who asks for help or advice and one who is simply there to waste your time.
If you ask for a recipe and aren’t writing it down, I know you are just wanting to hear my voice. Why, I don’t know, but that’s what it is.
There are some scammers who want to be seen talking to you so that they can relay an imaginary conversation with you as ‘proof’.
If you see someone talking to X and then later they say; “X told me that..” unless you can verify with X, (or know the speaker as a liar) you’ll believe what they say.
And becoming someone’s alibi is a big waste of time.
