War Posters at the MSU Museum

We are visiting the Natural History Museum and another great display at the MSU (Michigan State University) museum. fThe MSU Museum of Natural History is in Lansing, Michigan and the display that interested me in this wing was the War Posters. These promoted buying War Bonds, supporting the war and helping orphaned children in France.  This dramatic poster shows the wonderful Boy Scouts of America helping Liberty get weapons for the war effort using USA War Bonds. The Boy Scout here is in the traditional attire of original boy scouts with the great felt hat and holding the sword saying “Be Prepared”.
