The Skin I’m In

(Photos courtesy of Coffee, Coffee, Coffee……)

I get so annoyed when I see people cooking chicken, and the skin is gone.  No skin.  I am sure they are all very well-meaning chicken recipes, but if you are white, listen up:  A study reveals that eating the chicken skin helps prevent the formation of wrinkles.  It came out a few months ago.  I think I heard it on KUSI.  Imagine that; the collagen actually helps prevent wrinkle formation.

I don’t have any wrinkles, so I am not writing this for me.  You might say it’s the fact that I have a good amount of melanin in my skin, sure, there is truth to that.  But please don’t say, that fat don’t crack.  I know it don’t crack.  But this is not about my fat, after all, I have already lost 36 lbs., and by the time this post is a month old, I would have lost an additional 4 lbs.  I can assure you, the reason I have no wrinkles is because my whole life, I have always eaten the chicken skin.  Always.

I always eat it.  I never throw it out.  It’s the best part.  I mean, I am not vegetarian or vegan, either.  If you are, I don’t know what to tell you.  I guess you will have to get the botox, or a face lift, or use lotions, and potions.  It’s so much easier to just eat the chicken skins.

Don’t take them off.  That is gross, as a matter of fact, it is un-natural, and dare I say, un-American.  So when Cinco de Mayo rolls around, just remember what you read in my blog, grill that chicken, make your chicken tacos, and keep the skin.  Eat it.  Keep tacos alive, beat wrinkles dead in their tracks.  Have your daily dose of wrinkle prevention in your food.  It’s easy.  Don’t throw it, just eat it.  I mean, unless you want people to know you are over the age of 40 everywhere you go.  I don’t want my age to follow me around.  I’d rather have my stalker follow me around!!
