Special Raincoat at the Adirondack Museum

I was wandering around the Adirondack Museum (now called the Adirondack Experience) and saw this display. I was attracted to the Adirondack basket made of brown ash, but then I saw this raincoat next to it and wondered what was special about it? It belonged to Theodore Roosevelt who frequented this part of the Adirondacks and who was nearby when he was vice president and then President William McKinley got sick and died Theodore Roosevelt became president and was rushed by train back to D.C.
