You join an organisation; or maybe just come to meetings/ services. You don’t do anything to upset people, you aren’t advocating unpopular opinions.
You are just there.
As a ‘Scorn‘ you will soon appreciate that what ever you say the response is anti your pro. When you realise this, you stop attending.
However, the members don’t want you to cease attendance. They want you there. They need a Scorn.
People are more likely to join forces to fight against than fight for, so the Scorn is a unifying feature.
