The Egyptian Embassy in Belgrade organizes the “Month of Egyptian Culture in Serbia” in July, marking 110 years since the establishment of dipolomatic relations between Egypt and Serbia. The event will last until the end of July. It will include “The Week of Egyptian Film” in the Yugoslav Cinema..then … “Eguptology for All: Mapping Ancient Egyptian Civilization in Serbia” on July 12th at the National Museum in Belgrade, as well as an exhibition of archival documents that will be opened on July 19th in the National Assembly, which is organized in cooperation with the archives of Serbia and Yugoslavia. The dance performances of “Blue Elephant” of the Egyptian Opera will be performed, whose ensemble will perform on July 27 at the National Theater in Belgrade.

Ambassador of Egypt to Serbia Amr Alguvejli emphasizes that the Month of Egyptian Culture is the result of successful cooperation with the National Assembly of Serbia, the Ministry of Culture and Information, the Secretariat for Culture of the City of Belgrade, the Government of Vojvodina and the cultural institutions in Belgrade.
they might call themselves Egyptians, but their ancestors aren’t the ones who built the pyramids…

I would just love to be there and see first hand all the Egyptian events but also to see your beautiful country of Serbia. Thank you for introducing us to this collaboration effort. It is too bad it is not as good between us (Canada) and the USA right now. I think they should learn more about collaborating between each other instead of tariff wars and all that. But maybe one day we will all live in harmony.
