#4 Cats In The Cradle-Harry Chapin

"Cat's In the Cradle" is often attributed to Cat Stevens, but it is actually a Harry Chapin song. It was the first I ever learned as a young girl, and it opened the door for me to discover many more wonderful songs by this artist whose life was ended all too soon.

#7 My Sweet Lord – George Harrison

George Harrison's hit song, "My Sweet Lord" from "All Things Must Pass" (1970) - the album went 6x platinum! The song is one of Rolling Stone's 500 Greatest Songs Of All Time. According to Pattie Boyd's autobiography, George wrote My Sweet Lord in their kitchen at Friar Park. It was #1 in the US for 38 weeks in 1970. Beautiful spiritual song, enjoy! ?

  1. Wonderful selection; am surprised I know most of them! 😀 I guess growing up with older sisters helps… Thanks for taking me down memory lane – had a good time listening to many I haven’t for a long time…
