Free Libraries

Free libraries are springing up all over our neighborhood. Some are rather plain, others are much more creative. The principle is simple: If you see a book in the library that interests you, take it. If you have a book that you no longer have any use for, leave it there for someone else. The system works pretty well and the libraries have a rapid turnover.

The free library was located at 6331-33 N Lakewood, Chicago, Illinois (Edgewater).I used a Nikon Cookpix P7700 camera to take the photo then I used Luminar 2018 to apply the Accent - AI Enhancer and polarizing filters, decrease the exposure a bit, add a little contrast and increase microstructure and saturation.Photo © 2017 Gary J.
