Farewell January

The first month of 2018 is gone. I am trying to capture snapshots of this year so it doesn’t slip away without my realization. One of the biggest problems I have with time is being present in the now.

The 365 day photo challenge has really given me so much of a gift, thank you Harping by a pixie. It has forced me to shoot and find something interesting when I either didn’t feel like it or there just seemed like nothing was available.

Here are a few images of the month of January.

I have fallen a bit behind in the challenge but am in the process of catching up. It has been a month of seeing beyond my subject. I have gotten my website revamped and online and have increased my presence and blogging.

What have you done this month? What are  you most proud of accomplishing?

  1. Your photos are always exceptional and I have visited your blog.
I cannot say I have accomplished anything this year. The weather
has been cold, snow, ice. Those are excuses but it is what it is.

    • Yes, try that-fineartamerica-it’s free to join and you display your images and than you price your prints and gift items. Let me know if you were able to join-and let me know the link.

  2. Shoot! That just reminded me I promised I would check your new blog but heck, life happens. Got caught up with the family vacay and the work backlog after the vacay and updating my own WordPress blog. As usual, beautiful shots — and I will go and check that blog just give me a nudge after next week. I am off to see my folks as my dad just got sick.

  3. The photo’s you posted are lovely. To be honest, January isn’t my favourite month, but am glad that Spring is just around the corner. I can’t wait until the weather starts to get warmer and the days longer!
