Athens, this year’s UNESCO World Book Capital, from 24 to 30 August 2019 will also host the 85th World library and information Congress organized IFLA.Tema Congress is “Libraries: a dialogue for change.” IFLA urges the international community library to discuss and review the role of the library as a promoter of change. In an era of rapid change in the socio-economic and technological sphere of libraries and society must be in constant, active and open attitude. This will lead to well-informed citizens facilitate progress and development, implement UN Agenda for sustainable development and lead to prosperity in all areas of a democratic society.
