Armadillo’s Pillow is a used bookstore located at 6753 North Sheridan Road in the Rogers Park neighborhood of Chicago, Illinois. Although this photo was taken in 2008, it is still up and running today.
The photo was taken using a Panasonic DMC-FZ50 camera. I used ACDSee Ultimate 2019 to do the editing. First I cropped the image, adjusted the lighting, increased the contrast, clarity and saturation and then adjusted the tone curves.

It’s been going strong for quite a while. It may help that it is located two or three blocks north of Loyola University.
