A Quilt

What would you do with all the clothes of a person who has died?  Some people would donate them to a helping hand store and some would keep them packed away, but I am making a quilt from my mom’s clothes. I brought this idea up with my sister and she also had the same idea. My quilt will be a patchwork style made from her old sweatpants and sweatshirts and a few other odd pieces.

My sister will be making a special Christmas one from our mom’s Christmas/holiday sweatshirts. There will also be one made from some articles that were seersucker material. I have already cut the strips as well as the blocks for my quilt. There are some articles that are from my dad as well. This is a way that I will always have my mom and dad with me till I see them again.
