Winter Theme

In my world winter is a four-letter word. It is “snow”. It comes early and it stays late and it is never really the same. Sometimes it is thick and heavy. Some times it’s light and dry. Often times it swirls in a blizzard. It is never really boring and it offers lots of possibilities.

I hope you enjoy some pictures of what winter means to me.

These shoes are huge! There were several similar things when we hand the winter Olympic games here. It was amazing to watch them build them, with warm cocoa in my hand!

Such a cute bear

When my brother made the first one of these I was very angry. He took my giant stuffed bear and put it in the tree and left it there in the snowstorm and then put on the finishing touches in the morning. I was mad because he froze my bear.

A Must Every Year

We do this at least once during the Christmas Season. It seems that as soon as we get it all put away and horses in the barn someone shows up and asks for a ride. 99.9% of the time we make it happen right then. Sometimes they have to come back the next day.
