White Christmas Tree ~ 365 Photos Challenge ~ Day 8

Today we went to Wendy’s for lunch and this tree was sitting in the area where people sit down to eat. I knew I had to photograph it and share it in the challenge. It was just so pretty. I have always liked green trees because they are traditional. This tree was just so pretty with the white branches and colorful ornaments.

I edited the photo a little bit and added the frosty edges…I think it gives it kind of a winter feeling.

What do you all think of this photograph? What kind/color of Christmas trees do you like? Also, what ornaments do you like? Do you follow a certain color theme?

Now, if you would like to join the 365 photos challenge by @artbytes26, feel free. Anybody can join, you don’t have to be nominated!

  1. A legend tells of a very poor carpenter. Many years ago he met a fasting child on Christmas Eve. Although he was really poor, the carpenter gave the child food and shelter for the evening. When he woke up the next morning, he found a beautifully brilliant tree in front of his door. According to the legend, the child was actually the Christ who appeared to the carpenter. To reward the good man, he gave him the Christmas tree.

  2. Wonderful! I love white Christmas trees decorated with pink and other soft color ornaments. But I also love a classical green tree with red and gold ornaments. They are all beautiful!
