The first test of Colin’s control came when the mother of Keith and Joey came to visit. The boys rejected their mother almost viciously.
It gave Colin sinful pleasure to see them speak harshly to her, insult her and say they never wanted to live with her.
When she left, Colin rejoiced. He enjoyed his manipulation of Keith and Joey, aware they would do anything to please him.
He used them to steal from his mother and make demands for what he wanted. They would confide in him. He knew more about what was going on or would go on, than Miranda imagined.
Colin’s control over his nephews continued and increased over the years.
