Wacky Wednesday – Matters

Well, I have been absent from Virily sometimes as life’s chores excelerate and I find my time limited by one person watching the clock and telling me it is time to stop for yet another job. To be honest I have been burned out often…

It is life and when one is down the other lifts the one down up, or I hope to. The time may come that the other person may be unable to get up and in this year I have got the ambulance for this event twice, plus take them into A & E. 4 times. Fortunately medical care is free as far as hospital visits are concerned.

Its been a rough year, yet always someone worse off. Yet, if a member of your family is unwell, I do my best to help.

Just when I think I get some things organised something often goes wrong and so many I know around me have become unwell.

In a way I don’t like Christmas much, it raises people’s hopes and many are living on the street with no one while others are spending up large, celebrating. I have a roof over my head, a wonderful husband and budgie and lovely friends…I will make no complaints.

Here the thumbnail is a recent photo of our New Zealand Harrier Hawk in Taupaki, just before I arrived at my sister Felicity’s place one day.

  1. pam we miss you when you are gone. But family comes first, always! you are carrying a heavy burden and we understand when you have to pick it up and put Virily down.

    I hope all is well.

Your thoughts on Christmas do show the spirit of the season. It is about others!
