Helena had set up a mediation and didn’t want to go. She had called Rhea on Thursday for Monday.
Rhea was really not willing. Helena whined that she was sick and couldn’t go.
When she hung up she felt the matter had been taken care of. Rhea would go, make a fool of herself.
Helena would eventually pay her a sum, depending on the time, place, but much less than the job was worth.
It never occured to Helena that speaking in her command voice proved, even to innocent ears, that there was nothing wrong with her, and she was simply trying to fool Rhea.
Rhea, to terminate the call had ‘agreed’ then hung up with annoyance. She waited until Friday morning to call Helena.
