The Project – 31

Tricia knew whatever the particulars of the allegations,  the headings were true.

She had lived with Ollie; lived with the young and vibrant Ollie, who felt he could say anything, do anything, because he was The Great Ollie.

Having read the transcript, it was clear the judge found Ollie a clown.  A pretentious fool who had the temerity to ‘interpret’ a legal rule to a judge.

She didn’t bother to mention that in her email.  She  pressed send.

Tricia didn’t know if Ollie would ever write her again.  If he’d  attack her for not ‘defending’ him, or attempt to instruct her in the law.

On one hand, Tricia awaited his response, on the other, she pondered if this was their last communication.
