A month passed, Ollie was back on train with his two meaningless emails.
Then, on the 7th of the following month, Ollie wrote about the dismissal. Again.
Not merely that, he sent her an attachment. Ollie sent her thirty two pages he expected her to examine.
Tricia thought she had jumped that Ollie hurdle. Thought his ‘project’ was over. He must be lonelier than she imagined. His third wife must have left him.
She knew Ollie had no friends.
When he was younger, people orbited around him because of his physical attractiveness, and his sense of power. They drifted away when they realises he was bogus.
Tricia didn’t open the attachment, she went out.
When she returned she did a number of things, then finally decided to take a look.
