The Project – 20

There were no further emails from Ollie.

Tricia did not expect any until the 20th of next month.  She mind bet that he wouldn’t mention the topic again.  After all, it would go in the ‘loss’ column.  He would have to find something else to annoy her with, and that might be difficult.

She wondered if he would ever recognise himself.   Ever appreciate how obnoxious he was.

Sure, when he was young and beautiful he could get away with a lot of his behaviour, but now?

A pudgy old man, unpleasant and presumptuous, with a sharp cold voice one didn’t really want to hear, thinking he could dominate or intimidate.

Tricia shrugged, turned to something else, Ollie forgotten.
