The LaJenna's Cooking Challenge: Everything But The Kitchen Sink

I recently started a challenge that is just about posting things that you have been eating. I watch a lot from the Food Network Channel, and I get lots of creative ideas.Today’s meal started out with me slicing up some red peppers, and garlic, and placing them in a cast iron skillet. Then,I added tomatoes, snap peas, and apples in it. I also put some turkey chunks in the dish as wellAfter the ingredients softened I added my scrambled egg mixture to the pan. Then, when it was mostly cooked through I added some chopped up pieces of provolone cheese. What made this dish even better was the sauce.I took about a cup of mayo, mustard, brown sugar, sugar, tomato basil vinaigrette. I also added a little of my homemade pickle relish to the sauce as well. Then, I poured the mixture over the top of my dish, and put chunks of provolone cheese over the dish. I toasted a few pieces of toast, and put pieces of it throughout the dish. My husband thought it was dressing, and loved itIt was so delicious! I may have forgotten a few ingredients, due to it having everything in it but the kitchen sink lol

  1. It all looks and sounds great. I am a poor cook because being on my own there are times I am just not very hungry and just snack on something. But when I get in the mood I too love to just throw ingredients together and come up with something tasty.

  2. We don’t have Grocery game but we have a lot of cooking programs on them like Masterchef. I liked some of them but most are competitions.
Its the serious competitive cooking and other competitive programs that put Rick off.
