The last day in Bali, after all the work has been done, and before returning to Jakarta, my personal duty is to surround the places that sell souvenirs and gifts for family at home, siblings, relatives, and neighbors.
Among many such places, one of the main, complete and more traditional places is the Sukawati Art Market.
In Sukawati Art Market, we can find various kinds of Balinese handicraft such as home decoration stuff, woven fabric, batik, shawl, scarf, incense, even painting and many others.
The picture above is one shop that sells paintings, sculptures, imitation flowers, prayer beads, various necklaces and others.
If you would like to join in and challenge yourself to a photo a day, here are the rules and guidelines.
Lovely colorful pictures! I’d love to visit Bali one day!
Uhhh… You should visit Bali sometime, Ellie. Thanks
Loved them all, and it made my day feel brighter.
Made your day feel brighter… Uuuuhh… I am so glad to hear it, LaJenna. Thanks a lot!
Wow this last photo is like an explosion of color, beauty, and flowers!
Thanks again for taking us on your journey.
Thank you very much, Carol. Visiting a market or art shop is fun because there is so much beauty.
I do not like going to the shops and the markets. But I like that when I need something definite. I know I can find him there. Traders have a large assortment of goods on the market.
When it’s all online right now, I prefer to shop online. But to buy a souvenir like yesterday, going to the art market is the best option. Thanks, Elenka!
