While waiting for spring I decided it was time to delete some of my older photos in my computer library. I do this every few months. I have so many photos I take year round. My computer gets loaded down. And I always have duplicates. So while doing this weeding process I came across this Rose of Sharon photo. I decided to use an editing program on my computer and make it look sort of like stained glass. Something to do on this cold blustery day.

absolute beauty this rose of sharon…I simply love stained stuff as the petals are crepe quality and the stained colors present the spectre of ink being spread
I’ve always been fascinated with how the artist of old made stained glass especially on the ceilings.
The power of technology is all I used for this one. But I know, it is fascinating to see some of the Roman churches and their incredible ceilings.
That’s a lovely effect. I applaud your commitment to culling old files, but don’t forget to defrag when you’re done!
