The first days with the baby were a bit stressful for Shirley but Glen was there. Then he received a call. He told Shirley he might be gone for three months.
He said good bye to their baby, Zachery, grabbed his gear, kissed her and was gone. As he left, she phoned her sister and within a half hour Olive and Zander were there.
They begged to take Zachery, just for the three months. Shirley listened to them, complied as a ‘kindness’.
After all, they would never have children.
They embraced her and cried, and thanked her and she did shed a few tears.
But it wasn’t really that.
At least not entirely.
The plot sounds “very familiar” to me… The only difference was the name of my special Ops unit was 40th Mobile-Unit and this is where I met my wife! Sounds great Jaylar. I’m looking forward to the rest.
