Song Saturday ~ "In Hell I'll Be In Good Company" by The Dead South

I’ve posted all classic Rock and Roll songs for Song Saturday, but today I thought I would go for another genre. A lot of people do not like Blue Grass, but something in me does. I really like this band, and the song is not the cheeriest the tempo sure is. This song is about a musician coming home to find his cheating wife in bed with another, and he shoots her. Anyway, that is my take on it. What do you think it is about?

  1. Bill Monroe (BlueGrass Legend) lived near where I grew up. A small Indiana town called Bean Blossom. (look at the names of towns in Southern Indiana you’ll see a pattern).

Every year on his farm, Bill had a huge festival. He passed away, but the festival lives on. Some of the best times I’ve ever had were at that festival.
