I am sure all of us have dreamed of a small house or cabin in some place secluded, with nothing but peace and quiet surrounding us. Away from the everyday turmoil.
This painting is hanging on the wall in the dining room. Aunty Kay will take her granddaughter on the hip and tell her it is their house. They will walk around there and feed the birdies and animals close by. The will take walks to those houses in the background and go visit all the nice people there.

I love Aunty Kay she is not only into putting unauthorized “keep this place clean” sign in the middle of the night but also into storytelling ??? I like singing to my 1year old and 6months niece and she gets sleepy with Ed Sheeran’s perfect every time ??? so either I have a sweet voice or a boring one ?
I think you will enjoy her. I call her my Bloemfontein Mother. Or maybe your voice is just so calming that your niece can’t help it. 😉

This is wonderful! There was a similar painting at my grandparents’ house, I used to love imagining living there.
I am crazy about landscapes. Hopefully one day I will also be able to paint like that.
