I am looking forward to June being over, then we can start to see the sun again on the coast. This is the last week of what we call this month. June Gloom, because of the heavy fog marine layer of clouds that sit over us in May and June.
Do you know what we call May here? May grey! 😉

You and me both! I’m tired of our rainy weather this month in June. It is almost like our months our pushed back because I always remembered May being rainy and June being the time when it gets warmer out. Seemingly July will be the start of consistent warm temperatures : )
I have been noticing all the rain to the east of us. July is this years start. Hopefully!
I can say that after yesterday I feel that summer is here. It got very hot.

Did not know that about CA. Beautiful photo. We are just tired of severe thunderstorms for the past several days.
It’s only like that on the coast. 10 miles inland and it has reached 115 already. I miss those good ole t storms!

That’s funny. But wait, is that SoCal or LoCal? (ha, ha, ha) – people from places where they have summer used to go nuts in San Francisco. August would roll around and they felt summer never started. This is how many tourists end up owning sweatshirts that say San Francisco on them when they visit. The best weather was late March or early October approximately.

LoCal SoCal! lol where they have summer!! So true. Ours starts in July and lasts through May Grey. lol. Best time to come to SD is in October I believe. Or springtime! I have been freezing every morning and night. Of course I sleep with the slider open. Our marine layer is raining this morning.
