School Daze – Guide to Learning & Acing Your Exams

There are a lot of ‘common sense’ tips which aren’t very common. To catch your attention I’m going to start at the end; taking that exam.

You’ve kept your ‘beat book‘ (that’s the next chapter) you know how to study (another article) you’ve gotten yourself mentally ready (yup, another article) and you’ve arrived at the Exam room ready to go.

The bell rings, and you’re off!

The first thing is to read the question. Really read it. This is because there are questions which are (a) trick, (b) ambiguous, (c) unclear.

In some cases the question is deliberately trick or ambiguous, in other it is accidentally, ambiguous or unclear.

This is why you assume nothing, read carefully, then begin by stating the question you are answering.
