You know the saying knock on wood for luck or so nothing bad will happen but do you remember that this was also a song? “Knock on Wood” became a hit song in 1966 and originally performed by Eddie Floyd The song wound up at number one on the Soul Singles chart and stayed there for a week. This song has been covered many times by such artists as Otis Redding and David Bowie. It is sung by Emma Stone in the 2010 movie “Easy A”.
