Picking a Victim – 8

There are children who gain pleasure out of ‘punishing’  their parents.

They whine and cry and throw tantrums and refuse to so something or stop doing something.

Parents who practice manual discipline end this quickly with a slap.   Parents who don’t punish  will be abused by their children for as long as they allow it.

Children will, at a young age, see how far their can push;  whether in demands or refusals.   When they have limits, they know how far they can go.

When children are not disciplined, when they know they can work on their parents feelings and gain what they want, they never stop.

Many grow up, become adults, and knowing they can get their folks to jump through hoops, keep finding new hoops.
