Rachel was in a dream. She couldn’t believe that she was walking out of this fancy store with an outfit so beautiful (and expensive) without a blink.
Issac hadn’t even looked at the price tag. He said he’d buy her a fancy outfit, and he had.
Was it going to be that easy?
They got into her car, and she dropped Isaac at his flat just after they exchanged numbers.
She paused to see him enter, then drove off.
Isaac wandered into his flat in a daze. Just for a beautiful woman to be with him, he knew that the blow back had elevated his status to his co-workers, the people in the shop, those on the sidewalk.
He had gone from being invisible into the man with the beautiful woman.
