Occupational therapy

Other than being a Licensed Practical Nurse I helped out as an occasional Activity assistant when I worked at the hospital, oh, so many years ago now. I remember helping the speech therapist, music therapist as well as the occupational therapist mainly giving encouragement to the patients.

O is for opportunities to change

C is for caring

C is for compassion

U is for understanding others issues,

P is for patient care;

A is for action oriented

T is for teaching skills

I is for intuition needed

O is for organization needed

N is for notes

A is for anxiety felt by patient and therapist, at times

L is for learning

T is for tactile issues

H is for physical and mental health,

E is for exercises done

R is for restoration of learned skills

A is for actualizing results 

P is for patient

Y is for youth and others needs.
