Love ItLove It

New Project

With the last rain storm we had, our tarp awning got torn and battered. I took it down, I never liked that thing anyway. It was loud when the wind blew, and very cheap looking I thought.

I had my sons take it off, then I got some bamboo fencing.  It comes rolled up, and you just have to unroll it. We wired the white poles in a grid so it could just sit on top. Then we tied it on with hemp rope. I tried to match the color of the bamboo on top, and the trees on the side polls. I wanted the polls to disappear. What do you think so far?

    • 😀 I did yes! I had already had used some to hide the chain link fence, and was thinking, hey that would work on top I bet. Probably wont last as long, but its way easy to replace and roll out. We BBQ most evenings in the summer. I love the regular charcoal grills. No gas needed, and it tastes so much better. Come on over Grace, its not raining here.

    • You know what’s funny is that I have never tried stingray, and my son caught a 30 lb one last month. He gave it to a poor family, he passed along the way. That dish looks super good, I had to look it up. 🙂

      • Wow!! 30lb!!
Stingray is supper yummy when cooked the right way! And everything could be eaten from flesh to bones… I’ve too have never prepare one, we usually order from caterer for stingrays and they come with the sauce (but sometimes we still make our own)
