When he insults or berates his parents or other family members, she smiles.
She knows that when she steps in, she can take him over and stuff in her entourage because he has no one. Not only does he have no one, but he’s stupid. He is a man who spits in a mirror.
She can march into his life with her entire family and friends and take it over.
When there is some event, the female abuser takes joy at the fact that none or only one or two of ‘his’ side are there and everyone else is ‘hers’.
This allows her to control everything. From property to opinions, it is her way because she has all the witnesses on her side, and if she says he slapped her, she’s got a dozen relatives to testify to it.
