My Happy List week 5

There are some people for week five that have impacted me. Kim, Carol, Albert, Indexer, Norman, and Ellie are all people that have influenced me here on Virily. There are also writers that helped me grow on NIUME, and other sites over the years (Carol Tayor). I would also say that there are some other people that have influenced both what I blog about, but also where I post and so on. I started off with a monthly blog on Windows Live more than 12 years ago. That monthly blog became weekly, then a little more than weekly and finally daily. Windows Live ceased offering blogs, and I moved to WordPress for my blog. I then separated my person, wanderings into my Family blog, and my technical focused blog. PRevisoulsy to creating the second blog, I alternated technical and personal posts on the one blog.

There are so many other people beyond the quick ones listed that I would love to thank. If I didn’t call you out by name, my apologies if I am reading your stuff you are influencing me. If I am commenting on the stuff you’ve posted, you have made me think. If I am no longer reading your material well, that is a different matter.

Thanks to one and all for the gift you give with every single post!

    • Thanks, Barbara. I have found my ability to read posts here on Virily limited lately. I’ve been running into a server error (I think Carol has been as well) that prevents me from reading as much as I would like to read!

      • I think that’s a common problem. I had it happen recently, too. And I still haven’t figured out these comment boxes. When I try to reply to comments on my own posts, they rarely appeared threaded as they are here. I hit reply, but no new box appears that will put my reply under the comment I’m replying to, and I fear people will never be notified or see my replies. I’m starting to tag them now. I don’t understand why this happens and my replies so often appear above instead of below the comment I’m replying to.
