This is really old, back when I was entirely analog. Man, do I hate ziptone. It is great! 1 Log in to Reply Careful with this piece; it’s an antique! Log in to Reply I have the lineart version of this somewhere… I should post that 1 Log in to Reply I will dig that badboy up and stick it in my next sketchapalooza 1 Log in to Reply Ziptone, like the color swatch books? Love to see the old pieces and then see how far you have come since then. 1 Log in to Reply Ziptone is a transparent film with some type of pattern on it. You cut it out with an Xacto knife and stick it to the illustration. I hated it… Log in to Reply Great title for this black-and-white piece! 1 Log in to Reply Given that they’re both vampires going to Denny’s to find goths to feed on… 1 Log in to Reply You’re lucky not to be there that night! You must avoid them! 1 Log in to Reply Yeah, it is important to know where you are on the food chain at all times… 1 Log in to Reply You have to, or I will find it difficult to explain to your mermaid wife! 1 I attempt to remain at the top of the food chain in a two pronged strategy- eating everything else and avoiding anything which might eat me… But I figure, if I eat a lion that puts me above it in the food chain Hahahaha! Kim’s comments made me laugh because I wondering about the same thing. Anyway, I thought they were models for shampoo because of those flowing long hair lol. Nice entry as always showcasing the talent of the one and only Mr. A! 1 Log in to Reply By that metric, just about every piece I do is a shampoo ad. That’s a hilarious observation, btw Log in to Reply I am referring mostly to the girl in bike — the manner of hair falling and flowing reminded me of either an ad for Creamsilk or Sunsilk. My eyes are quite small so it can notice details. And if I make a somber observation, that would be the day someone needs to call a priest to do the last rites for me — altho even then, I doubt if I will be capable of anything somber ?. 1 Log in to Reply What about Andy’s hair flowing in the evening breeze? Or does he have too many tattoos to be a shampoo model? Log in to Reply Hmmm you asked a very serious and complicated question that requires absolute contemplation. Anyway, I don’t believe Adam Levine is endorsing any shampoo. By that same logic, Andy will not qualify as shampoo model. That is the conclusion I arrived at after deep reflection ? 1 Truly, the depths of your philosophy are staggering Wonderful, I was wondering if you were going to share some black and white stuff! So glad you could. I love it, the pattern thing is cool, very artsy. Not sure what ziptone is? 1 Log in to Reply ziptone is the pattern thing, very annoying to work with 1 Log in to Reply lol, i was wondering about that after my comment. I thought its probably the pattern thing. I like it, it’s different. 1 Log in to Reply it is a pain to work with 1 Log in to Reply Leave a Reply Cancel replyYou must be logged in to post a comment.
