Learning and Acing Your Exams – conclusion

The trick to learning is to take in the information and let it simmer.   No pressure, just take in the lecture, take in the research, take in the homework answers.

The learning is enhanced by your handwritten ‘Beat Book’ which contains the lessons, (often annotated with reference to information obtained by research).

By spending time each day going over the lesson,  you learn much easier than letting everything pile up for a weekend, where you have to rush from one subject to another.

Sure, you want to go to that dance or party or whatever, so set your time to complete the Beat Book entries before going.

On the weekends,  set a time to go over your Beat Book.   Just read it like a novel.

Cramming doesn’t work, the end of term all nighters are pointless.

What works is slow and steady.
