According to the observer parties, so far 66417 kg illegal liquor has been seized which costs Rs 1238 crores as per the liquor market.
In this row of huge seize, the state of Uttar Pradesh placed 1st with seized liquor accounted as 20000 kg. Apart from this, the second place is Madhya Pradesh from where 16,000 kg illegal liquor was seized and is followed by Maharashtra from where illegal liquor accounted 15000 kg was seized by the Election Commission of India. .
In this election, 3070 kg of gold has been caught from Tamil Nadu. Which costs Rs 708 crores. Apart from this, 1354 kg of jewelry was seized from Madhya Pradesh and 709 kg from Uttar Pradesh. Apart from this, the cash of Rs 799 crore has been seized. Which is twice as compared to the previous Lok Sabha elections.
