I’m sure people who live in the tropics would find our behaviour hilarious.  

I’m sure what we went through was called ‘rain’ in their language.  But for us, not used to such a downpour, such wind, and feeling so isolated and precarious, it was like living through Armageddon.

The Storm brought us closer together.

What might have been slapped away as a ‘connection’ or ‘hook up’  became serious.  

Why not?

Here was a person I understood who understood me.  A person I felt comfortable with more than anyone I had ever met.
