How the Bough is Bent – 1

Connie Harper was so depressed she’d cheer the apocalypse.   She had gotten a job at the most prestigious pre-school in the city.   The pay was not fantastic, but that wasn’t the problem.

The problem was the obnoxious brats who attended.

They were disrespectful, noisy, badly behaved, feeling they could do and say anything they wanted and suffer no penalty.

They treated Miss Harper as they would a slave, and it came so natural to them.

Connie had suffered them from September until December, and really didn’t think she could survive if she returned in January.

She had only been given a ‘trial’ employment beginning the 15th of September to the 15th of December, and although she was offered a contract from January to June, she just didn’t think she could continue.
