Five (unscheduled) Flights a Day – 9

It was not that ‘no one’ knew what happened to Junior, it is that those who knew had no connection with anyone in his circle.

There were a couple of people who were on that bus to Yallahs who saw Junior get on.

As they only knew he was a bad man they didn’t look too hard.  Some got off before he did and forgot about seeing him.

As no one asked about Junior, as there was no ‘Missing Person’ bulletin, there was no reason for them to remember seeing him on that bus.

Whistle, who had been in jail with Junior, who was associated with the ganja trade, knew where he was; in America somewhere.

Whistle didn’t leave the Yallahs area much.   He’d go to town now and then to sell vegetables and ganja, but there was no one who ever asked him about Junior.
