Fairies for Macro Monday? Let's Do More!

I am combining Macro Monday with the Let’s Do More Challenge.

Carol DM posted a beautiful bird photograph last week and asked us to find the bird. I found the bird right away, so I kept looking for more. One of the leaves looked like a fairy, and an idea was born for Albert’s Challenge. I needed close up pictures and wanted to have some that were like Carols picture of a branch, but instead of a bird I thought I would put fairies from some clip art images I found in some close ups.  I saved them for Macro Monday!

Here are the pictures and the process I went through.

#1 The Poison Ivy Fairy…

on some Poison Ivy. (Fairies are immune to it's poisons).

Do you see her?

~ This works for Macro Monday, the leaves are slightly bigger than average size.

#2 The fairy by the lake.

I found some fairies I liked in clip art. I pick the transparent back round ones. I found a few I liked and saved them onto my computer.

#3 A fairy could hide in this silhouette.

I picked some pictures I have taken that would fit a fairy, from my saved photos...

#4 The fairy

I then open the picture in Paint. I then click on Select. I choose transparent back round.

Then I click on paste from clip board and pick the fairy clip art I have saved.  I drag the fairy to where I want her.

Then I meld her in by clicking the color picker and the brush of my choice. I paint around her, to erase most of the white lines that are always left over around the clip art. I save it.

#5 More… The final step.

I then bring the saved fairy picture into Fotor. In this one I picked the adjust button and adjust the curve in the tone bringing out the greens to match her wings.
