Mac wondered if he was in love with Lorna or she was just a filler. He wondered, but pushed all sorts of qualms and question to a corner enjoying the now.
For he did enjoy it.
He liked living in an apartment in the center of the city, able to pop across the street for groceries or a pizza.
He liked being with a woman who was not cemented into rituals, who could laugh and tease and play and enjoyed trivial pursuits.
Going up on the roof to see the stars, or to the zoo, going to clubs, were things he found he loved. Being free and easy with Lorna, was what he loved.
