Color Crazy - Red Week is at it's end....

So, I decided to go out into the yard and take a pictures of anything that resembled red. I am starting off with new growth on a tree, and of the only thing that I have right now in bloom that is red. The Crown of Thorns.

What’s funny is that I just noticed that Alibb posted the same flower for red week. I have seen these grow over head high.

Have you ever seen one?

#3 Another color of the Crown of Thorns

They start off a light yellow green, turn to yellow, then a blush red on the edge.

  You could have these, but they would have to join the others in the sun room in the winter. They grow slow though. This one is about four years old. It was just about 3″ when I got it.

#4 I know this is not red, but the buds do start off red.

Then turn to pink and finally open to a white flower. My Jasmine is now in bloom and the yard sure does smell good.
