Can't Make it Right – 16

It was typical Steven to be active at Service, often taking the lead role, despite the fact he  had married a woman of a different faith whom he cheated on constantly.

The hypocrisy was so blatant,  one assumes that goofy smile Steven adopted was ‘tell’.

As for actual employment, Steven worked for his family’s company.   He wasn’t particularly useful and knew it.

If he did anything valuable and was complimented, he’d do something stupid.

It was as if what he gave with the right hand he took back with the left.

That was Steven’s most blatant aspect.

He could be so perfectly religious, a true icon, inside the building, But once he was off the pulpit, he was no one to emulate.
