The construction across the way is blowing stuff up. I heard a boom, and grabbed the camera, this is what I saw. Shrugs.. I was thinking they found a boulder that needed breaking up. They actually found dinosaur bones here at the beginning of construction.
This is day 17 for me, if you would like to join in and challenge yourself to a photo a day here are the rules. The more the merrier, come join us!
Here are the rules and guidelines.
Seeing the speed of your reaction to everything, it seems that you are a source of inspiration from the story of Spiderman.
lol, well I have honestly never been told that. Thanks Albert!!
Anytime, Kim. Hey … are you ready for the camera? Someone/thing is coming soon!
Yes, I was wanting to get one in January but this will have to wait. Until then, I’ll just keep on keeping on! : )
Yikes, that is always fun to be around!
They are very noisy over there. Bad neighbors so far. lol
I know what you mean. We used to have cows as neighbors and now houses are being built. SO very sad.
Boom boom boom click.
So were they blowing up boulders or bones?
Probably bones, knowing this crew. “WE see bones, destroy evidence now, boom.” lol
Oh I saw a similar thing in Israel. The trouble there is, you dig a hole anywhere you’re very likely to come across some antiquity. Anyway I was working on this kibbutz (commune) and they were expanding their banana fields when we found a stone structure just a couple of feet down and I was told in no uncertain terms to STFU about it, because they had already lost sizeable chunks of productive land from such discoveries in the past!
I guess it happens everywhere as you said. sighs..
Having said that, they didn’t wilfully destroy the evidence, just covered it back up, so I guess it’s not quite so bad 🙂
The ecological society stopped them from digging for a few months. The Native Americans stepped in as well, but progress is progress. They found mammoth bones and tusks here.
